About Me

I am from Houston, Texas in the United States of America! But now live in Indiana with my husband! I am currently a College student, in my last semester, working towards my Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education from the University of Houston! I am currently a 120 hour certified TESOL (Teach English to Students of Other Languages) teacher! I have taught over 2,200 classes! I have taught over 800 students! I also love Art! I have won many awards for my art! Including the highest rating on my art portfolios, two times in the state of Texas!

My Art Story

While in school, I have taken many art classes. I have competed in many local and state art competitions, with many awards won. I have also had my own art show with an art auction! One year I completed 2 art portfolios, in the state of Texas this means 48 art pieces in one year. Each portfolio was individual judged and received the highest rating possible! For one competition I submitted an sewing piece. This sewing piece went to state level, and I earned a superior rating, and ended up being in the top 20 pieces for the state!

My Classroom Philosophy

My classroom philosophy is to always practice Equity! Everyone has their own story to tell, and I would love to hear yours! I hope to make a difference in at least one of my student's lives!
